BTS’s roots are in hip hop. As musical Artists, they've evolved so much over the years & experimented in many sounds and genres. Let's just say, BTS is on a whole different level of their own. As a group, they make beautiful music together, however as individual solo Artist (yes, they each can hold their own) they each have such a unique color & flavor altogether. 💜

DIMASH is another level...you can't compare him to any singer in the entire universe! Probably in another planet...lol I love Dimash especially his songs 🎵, such a rare gem 💎 ❤!

RUN BTS live performance in BUSAN is going to fascinate you... A piece of advice, try to read the lyrics first before watching the MV so you can better understand why many times it doesn't have the same Meaning, that is, their lyrics are deep But in the MV it is not described exactly in images... they are above kpop, they are a very different style, they created their own unique style

She's fucking tired. Something that many of us in the younger generations can emphasize with. We're all really tired of it all. Society's standards, parent's standards, academic standards. Personal financing, the responsibilities of adult life, the future that becomes more and more bleak every day, how many of us will be able to retire? How many of us will be allowed to have our own homes? How many of us will be able to afford food?

I would not start with Dynamite or Butter. They're good pop songs but not emblematic of BTS true sound. Maybe start with Am I Wrong (blues with Keb Mo) or Ugh! (East coast drill rap over automatic gunfire and asian instruments). Translations are important cause they're talking about real shit, the ills of south korean society translated to the global stage.

You don't know what you're getting into here. It took me a few months to come to terms with the fact that they are a Kpop boy band. But what these guys do is so interesting--and they're so fricking good at it. They're not metal, although they'd probably slay if they tried, but some of the most raw, dirty hip hop I've ever heard--like Killer Mike meets Beastie Boys Whenever you hear them do cheesy pop you can be guaranteed that they didn't write those songs. They have a management company and are basically carrying South Korean tourism on their backs at this point. But when the rapline get the time to do what they want, the music is always more intricate, the lyrics more layered. And on top of all this, they are Michael Jackson level performers, just incredible to watch. I think that's why everyone has heard of them but no one over the age of 20 ever knows their songs. They are all so different.

This a tresure song of kazakhstan and Dimash sing this like no one. The musical instrument is from Kazajistán and name KOBIZ of two strings, Using folk arrangements like “SYBYZGI”, beautiful Kazakh wind instrument. This live performance with his instrumentalists friends is a firm favourite of mine. His live singing is impeccable like always, even sitting cross legged on a piano stool. Streamed from his home, his music room it wen down a storm at his first appearance at the Tokio Jazz Festival although he was disappointed when it was canceled he was overjoyed when they decided to livestream it. Hello soon-to-be ( as of May 15th) 33-year-old BTS ARMY from Kentucky USA. I grew up listening to everything from The Beatles and Queen to Leann Rhymes and Bill Monroe. I have never experienced music the way BTS made me experience music. If you choose to take a journey into this wonder purple rabbit hole you will never regret it. These men are wonderful humans. Not only do they make amazing though provoking music they are world changers. They have spoken at the UN three times now and at the White House. If Live Aid were to come back they would be headliners and fund their own set. GOOD PEOPLE and ARMY are the biggest most wonderful family I could ever ask for. Hope you are here to celebrate with us in June as one of the members returners from his service and we celebrate 11 years together

Not a jazz song but the Tokyo Jazz festival wanted to include the greatest vocal artist of our time. Wouldn't you? Dimash has said this is one of the most difficult songs to sing, emotionally. He is a proud patriot of his country. ❤

Dimash always sings with such emotion in his voice and in his whole being that you feel the sadness and the heartbreak in his voice. That is art. ❤

This is for those who are listening to Dimash Qudaibergen for the first time: Maybe you don't like opera, nor folk music, and even less that of an unknown country in Central Asia like Kazakhstan, but I assure you that when you start listening to Dimash your life will change and It will be for the better.

Thanks for your reaction. I love this song! The way it makes me feel like I'm outside in a windy wasteland when it's played in a studio! Another Kazakh folk song that I would recommend is "Dudarai". It starts out quite traditionally sung but then Dimash gives it his own style! Enjoy! 🇨🇦

This was heart wrenching! I m 74 and it reminds me of songs that my grandparents and their parents would sing about the horrors of war in Ireland. They were starved out, families torn apart, placed in poor houses, and in early years taken as slaves. We as Americans don’t have many folk songs such as this (there may be some from Appalachia). Dimash is a humanitarian at his core. You can see it by the way he approaches people, and the way he presents his music. This song always tears at my heart.

This group is amazing live as well. They started out performing on the streets of Seoul but the lead singer Woosung is from Los Angeles so he speaks English and had to learn Korean when he moved to Seoul. I hope you check out their other stuff, they just performed at Coachella and KILLED IT! One of the craziest conversations of my life happened at The Rose concert in Austin. Two ladies in their sixties were seated next to me and I asked if they were there with their daughters or grandchildren. One of the ladies said, "No. I discovered their album Heal in the hospital when I was suffering from COVID and I know the Angels sent them to heal me. Now I go to their concerts to praise the Lord for bringing them into my life." When the group started both women stood and held their hands in the air like you see in churches...and I can't lie the moment felt holy somehow and I don't even believe in God. I couldn't disagree with them, whenever I feel sad, I put on Heal and I just feel better somehow. Maybe she's right and The Rose is our gift after surviving COVID.
